Le Club AccorHotels and Velocity Frequent Flyer Announce Partnership

Le Club AccorHotels and Velocity Frequent Flyer today announced a new partnership that will see the two award-winning loyalty programs provide members with an even more rewarding travel experience.
From 30 September, members of Le Club AccorHotels, the free loyalty program of AccorHotels, will be able to transfer Le Club AccorHotels points earned from staying at any of the 2,800 participating hotels in 92 countries worldwide to Velocity Frequent Flyer Points, opening up a range of unique benefits including a global flight network of more than 600 destinations.
Velocity Frequent Flyer will become a new transfer option for Le Club AccorHotels members together with car rental, railway, charity, culinary, shopping and leisure partners.
Chief Operating Officer AccorHotels Pacific, Simon McGrath, said the partnership will provide members of Le Club AccorHotels with even greater benefits and options to spend their loyalty points.
“We are delighted to announce a partnership with Velocity Frequent Flyer to further enhance our customer-centric loyalty program, enabling our 20 million global loyalty members to convert their hotel points into flight rewards and travel even further,” he said.
“Loyalty counts and it is an integral feature of our obsessive approach to guest recognition and delivering the ultimate customer experience. As our hotel network continues to rapidly expand, so too do the benefits of being part of our award-winning loyalty program Le Club AccorHotels.”
Velocity Frequent Flyer General Manager Commercial Partnerships, Jeroen van Son, said “Velocity Frequent Flyer is thrilled to bring AccorHotels into our portfolio of hotel transfer partners. This partnership opens up our extensive flight network of more than 600 destinations worldwide to Le Club AccorHotels members, as well as the widest retail offering of any loyalty program in Australia through our online Velocity e-store.
“Velocity Frequent Flyer has consistently been recognised for its reward seat availability, making it easier for our more than five million members to realise their dream holidays,” Mr van Son said.
Members of Le Club AccorHotels will be able to transfer their points to Velocity Frequent Flyer from 30 September 2015.
