Better Homes & Gardens showcases Scenic Tours luxury France river cruising

Scenic Tours has continued their relationship in 2014 with Better Homes and Gardens, the multiple Logie Award winning Australian lifestyle program on the Seven Network which covers a wide variety of lifestyle related topics including gardening, cooking and travel.

Europe, France, Northern France, Normandy, Giverny, Monets House and Gardens
On Friday 18 July, the Better Homes and Gardens team travel to France with Scenic Tours. Join the team as they journey along the majestic Seine River through landscapes that have inspired artists for generations including Impressionist, Claude Monet. Presenter Graham Ross visits Monet’s former house and garden in the picturesque town of Giverny, a highlight of Scenic’s 11 Day Gems of the Seine cruise on board the custom-built Scenic Gem.

Join Graham as he explores the beautiful gardens made famous through Monet’s classic 19th century watercolours including the lily ponds full of white water lilies local to France and other imported coloured varieties that would become the subjects of his best-known works over the next 20 years of his life, and the Japanese bridge that was the central feature of one of Monet’s most acclaimed pieces.

Air times for Friday 18 July:
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth - 7:00pm, Channel Seven Adelaide – 7:30pm, Channel 7Two
