Amazing Thailand Amazing Romance during the month of love 2014

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in conjunction with the Airports of Thailand (AOT) and the kingdom’s Immigration Bureau are giving loving couples an extra special welcome in Thailand this month.

Couples coming here to wed or enjoy a honeymoon will find romance is in the air at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
TAT has set up two special photo booths and registration counters located in both the East and West Concords of the Suvarnabhumi Airport’s Arrival’s Hall, so that newlyweds and honeymooners can get a memento of their trip. The AOT and Immigration Bureau have also arranged a premium lane to provide a fast-track immigration process for couples.

In addition, couples travelling together, and have registered to join the loving activities, will be given special souvenirs and privileges and their names will be entered into a lucky draw so that they get the chance to win prizes; such as, accommodation, meals, spa treatments, and discount coupons for shopping.
So far, the scheme has been a great success with 20 couples from Los Angeles alone flying to the kingdom to celebrate their nuptials. This includes a celebrity couple from Brazil – Ms. Giselle Itie Ramos (a star of the hit movie The Expendables) and Mr. Emilio Dantas (a famous stage performer whose Cazuza musical show has won great acclaim). They will be enjoying their honeymoon in Thailand over the romantic month of February.

Mr. Thawatchai Arunyik, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said, “Honeymoons and weddings make some of our most wonderful memories, so we are pleased to be able to make things a little bit special for travellers who have come to Thailand to wed or spend their first happy weeks together as man and wife.
“We want to give them something to remember their time here as well as smooth their path through the airport, so they can spend every minute enjoying themselves together. And what better month can there be for this than February, the month of love.”
The special campaign will continue throughout February, and couples can enjoy their airport privileges at Suvarnabhumi Airport from 05.00 to 24.00 hrs.
