Scenic Tours Africa

Namibian sand dunes
Scenic Tours is excited to announce the launch of their new 2014/15 program for all-inclusive luxury journeys to the extraordinary continent of Africa. The new program features unrivalled new experiences, new destinations and new itineraries.

Introducing touring to Namibia where the soft orange coastal desert sands are flanked by the world's highest dunes. Scenic Tours guests will now drive between the dunes and the Atlantic to reach Walvis Bay, the only deepwater harbour on the Namibian coastline and board ski boats to view birds, turtles, seals and dolphins. Or they may take a 'Living Desert' tour and explore the local dune belt between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.

Introducing a new itinerary to experience East Africa from the air. Kenya and Tanzania boast a vast diversity in landscapes best witnessed from the air including glaciated mountains, Rift Valley's volcanoes, flat searing deserts, savannahs rich with game and coral reefs. By flying direct to each location, this unique itinerary provides more time to discover the destinations including meeting the locals and less time travelling.

Introducing more options to experience the incredible Okavango Delta. Scenic Tours has added new itineraries that link Botswana's Okavango Delta with some of their other flagship itineraries such as those that visit Zambia and South Africa. Botswana's Okavango provides is the world's largest inland delta to Chobe National Park's elephant herd and provides the ultimate wildlife experience.

Other new experiences include an unforgettable classic steam train journey on the Livingstone Express with an evening of high class dining through the Zambian countryside, and walking safaris in Kruger National Park in both Tinga and Thornybush game reserves where guests will set out on foot with their expert tracker.
