Niseko about to boom again!

After the heady real estate plays by Australian investors (mainly keen skiers or boarders who discovered Niseko's deep powder snow in the mid 1990's) slowed the momentum has now swung to investors from the Asian countries such as Singapore, China and Malaysia.

Niseko-based SkiJapan.com's Operations Manager Anthony Trovatello says:" A Kuala Lumpur-based company has built 66 one, two, and three bedroom luxury condominiums opposite our office in the heart of Hirafu. The Shiki Niseko property, designed by one of the world's leading architects, is included in the vast array of apartment-style accommodation we offer our Australian skiers and boarders.

"The continued real estate boom is a win win for SkiJapan.com and the other Australian snow tour companies offering well-priced packages to one of the most popular resorts in Japan.

"It is a signal the issues encountered on Japan's Main Island has not dampened the appetite of snow enthusiasts from Australia and its Asian neighbours."

A week-long stay in a swish, luxurious Shiki Niseko two bedroom (four share) apartment 200 metres for the ski lifts costs from $1,596 including door-to-door airport transfers plus the usual service from Niseko-based bilingual SkiJapan.com staff, six day All Mountain Lift Pass valid at four interlinked ski areas (Annupuri, Niseko Village, Niseko Hirafu and Hanazono) that includes night skiing until 9pm and meet and greet at Chitose International Airport by an English-speaking SkiJapan.com airport representative.
